Despite a high price the first issue Tunisia Tiger went fast, especially after Dragon cut the number that were allocated the US (and perhaps elsewhere?).

The second version will cost even more. But if you want one, I suggest that you order quickly. Here's the word from one of the dealers, OnSite Diecast:

--------------------------------------------------------------------

Fully pre-assembled and ready for display, Includes a barrel that can recoil!
This new 1/35 scale fully built-up model features an initial Tiger I with vehicle number "122". It is skillfully hand painted in a stunning winter camouflage pattern as a member of sPzAbt 502. The original vehicle was one of the first Tiger I's ever to see combat on the Eastern Front.
Some of the peculiar features of this vehicle are the stowage bin mounted on the turret rear, and handrails on the turret sides. The lengthy 8.8cm scale gun barrel can even recoil!
Main Features:
- True to 1/35 scale (2nd release in the series!)
- Fully assembled
- Accurate winter camo and markings for a Tiger I serving with s.Pz.Abt.502
- Historically accurate
- Hatches can be opened and closed
- Front machine gun can rotate and point in different directions
- Barrel can recoil, just like the real thing
- Includes a display base
AVAILABLE: July 2006 $87.50
Remember the last release sold out 1 day after release. Pre-orders are accepted.

Have a good day.

However, I cannot recommend this dealer (The Motor Pool). But looking is free.

Although the narrative describes the first edition Tunisia Tiger, the picture and part number of the link below are for the winter Tiger. Plus the Tunisia Tiger has been out for a while and it is the winter Tiger that is to be released this summer. Thus, it appears that the item to be preordered is in fact the winter Tiger. That disclosed, the link below is, at $66.99, the lowest price I've seen for this item so far for the Dragon 1:35 winter Tiger. Shipping is only $3.99 and the Flying Mule is a good company.

As a result of an email I sent to them, the Flying Mule has corrected its web posting, confirming that the Tiger they are offering for pre-order is the Eastern Front winter version.

So far at least two of us have bitten the cheese on the Tunisian Tiger.
