It will be about half the size of the FOV 1:16 KT and upcoming Tiger 1 (which, unlike the FOV KT and the Figarti Tiger 1, will not have a full interior) and two thirds the price, but here's the word from Treefrog Treasures on this upcoming release:

"Tiger I mid-production with complete interior. The top of the turret comes off to show the gun, a loader loading a shell, and the gunner. The entire hull can then be lifted off to reveal the engine, gas tanks, fans, transmission, driver, radio man, and the compartments with real brass 88 shells!!!!! It weighs over 4.5 lbs and is made from over 950 pieces!!! Each track is a separate plate held together by two pins like the real thing!!! The hatches for the tank commander, loader, radioman and driver can be opened. The engine hatch can also be opened!!! Wait till you see Carlos' photos of these tanks. The pictures will be of prototypes with many details like machine gun magazines, canteens, personal items, etc. not yet added inside the tank. Each tank has 5 crew members (4 mentioned above plus commander). All are full figures with no part of the body cut off. The tank will come in 5 paint variants, and there are 4 additional tank crew sets with 4 figures each, which can be used outside the tank or with other 1/32 scale tanks like FOV. There tanks will cost $299, with shipment to dealers in December."

This Figarti Tiger can't be much bigger than the Dragon Tunisia Tiger we have, Bill. It's in 1:35 & the Figarti is 1:32. Or is that a big difference?

For a model like that thats dirt cheap. At least as far as die cast goes nowadays.

I dont know you can buy a lot of dirt for $300 =)
Still it looks to be a real nice piece

Steve, you know models- how much bigger is 1:32nd than 1:35th?

A piece of 1/32nd armor might be an inch longer than 1/35
or about a half a head to a head for a figure

I figured as much-

that's an aweful lot of cash for a tank that small, even with that much detail.

Yes, the size difference is not great moving from 1 to 35 scale to a 1 to 32 scale. But in the case of a detailed piece that includes a full interior, every bit helps.

For you model makers, Academy has a line of WW II AFVs with full interiors. Included in Academy's line thus far are two versions of the Tiger, the Lee, all three major US tank destroyers, the Achilles and couple versions of the Stuart. They are also in the 1:35 scale. I understand that Jay put together one of the Tigers for Frank.

It's the best Tiger I have in my collection. I'll take some pictures this weekend.

I know you think thats alot of money Frank, but consider this, muti-media model kits, kits with several different types of component parts like Brass, Photo Etched parts, Rubber, Resin pieces & Vaccum Formed parts ect.. can run upwards to $100.00 nowadays and you have to paint and assemble them yourself and for that price you had better know what your doing. For example, the 1/35 scale Dragon Jagdtiger Jay has that i sent him to build for me, i paid 70 dollars for 15 years ago. Food for thought.

No kidding? - $100? Wow. Well, don't get me wrong, I love the winter version (I posted a link above). I have to think about it.
