Another oldie but goodie selection is this Corgi 1:32 scale Bf-109 G-2 in winter dress for just $44.95 by 3000 Toys. It is the Yellow 12, Oberleutnant Heinrich Ehrle, Staffelkapitan 6./JG5, Petsamo, Finland 1943
This particular aircraft is remarkable for the livery. To provide camouflage more suited to the terrain over which it was operating, Ehrler's early Gustav had been given a coat of washable paint (including the fuselage cross), to which large irregular patches of dark green had been added.

Our final bird is the P-38J Lightning of Capt Robin Olds
from Joe Pilot for $27.50.
This P-38 was one of the few in the 479th FG that retained its olive drab scheme right up until the unit transitioned to the P-51D in September, 1944. NEW CASTING!
The red rudder was adopted in place of the 434th FS is geometric symbol around the time of D-Day. Robin Olds flew at least two P-38Js during his initial months of combat with the 479th FG, this aircraft almost certainly being the last of them.
