Russian thumps Georgian territory...targets pipeline and infrastructure.

This is a "new" Russia, with "old" world conquest goals.

We will end up battling in the Artic for oil.....try that one on in Game sims!!
The Russians can claim what ever they want at the arctic circle, thats basicly a naval deal and the Russians are "owned" by the U.S. Navy, which is rested and probably in the best shape of all the U.S. services.

The Russians are flying off of the Alaskian coast with a varity aircaft, Thats a good thing.
Our intercept skills need testing to stay sharp, the real threat may or may not be Russian, but it keeps us ready either way.

The E.U. becoming more oil dependent?? thats a double edged sword for the Russians who will become dependent on the income also...

The Georgia deal? I'm still on the fence as what message they are trying to send, but I dont think that its expansion. More like we wont tolerate any crap in our own back yard.
