Ranger and I have finished our round 1 game.

Hats off to Mark for a great game that was in question till the last turn.

Final score was Swampfox 9 points (minor victory)
Ranger BooBoo 5 points.

I bagged 2 of his tanks, he got 1 of my guns, I captured 1 V/L in the middle village and the church remained a question mark with much blood shed by both sides.

I called off the attack on the far village, I failed to neutralize the strong points in the heavy buildings and Marks crossfire was too much. I would have suffered massive casualities with no guarantee of success. It did draw the T-34s over and allowed the infantry attack to grab a toe hold in the center.

The attack on my village was more of a probe and was driven off by HMG , mortar, and howiter fire, 2 of the infantry guns bagged a T-34.
