About halfway through my initial set up. Set the airborne delaying forces to covering the three bridges into the villages and hope that I have the AT assets in good ambush positions. Also tried to cover the two fords with at least MG fire. Put the two jeeps in position where they can race and observe what crosses the one bridge we don't have a set up zone nearby. In the town itself I've set up flamethrowers to burn down all the buildings with flags on their side of the set up zone but still working on that one and I haven't touched the rescue forces yet.

The action in town has stalled for the time being with most of the town in Allied hands.
Half of my armour has broken out from the bridge crossing and has some good positions to engage the Axis armour at their bridgehead

There has been hell to pay for the axis forces trying to establish a bridgehead in the town
with 2 bridges. Burning wrecks litter one bridge and the approaches and exits to both bridges. The armor that made it across is pinned down around the exits. I see around a handful of Axis vehicles left as I have tanks headed for the rear of the bridgehead. We are on turn 32 and I cant see the axis being able to link up with the remnants of their Infantry in the main town. My Infantry losses are moderate and I have lost around 6 pieces of armor myself.

Got a Axis surrender on turn 35 or 36
I was able to break out through the undefended lone bridge and establish a high ground position overlooking the Axis main avenue trying to cross the bridges, while also moving a gun to watch the flank. I then sent 2 Greyhounds and then 2 shermans on a end run and was able to get behind his bridgehead. I got lucky at the start as Bob left the solo road bridge uncovered and I spotted most of his guns on the Initial deployment. I also got lucky in a couple of other areas.

Oh-ho! Over at turn 36....
Either you did very well, the Axis did very poor or the scenario didn't work as designed. Or the Allied had a great unit selection / Axis poor etc. etc. I'm going to be REALLY interested in feedback on this scenario from everyone.

So far. . . Bill and I are having a good game -- even though, as usual, Bill is pretty much dominating me with his "keyhole" finding ability. He really stomped me in town with the 150mm guns, but I hit back hard with my 37mm at guns (thanks, Kerry) and my 57s -- 6 MKIV kills between the 4 guns. I broke through the right two bridges only losing a scout car and a Greyhound. I still have a chance. He's got 7 MKIVs and 3 Stugs across the bridge, and I'm trying to get good hull down position to engage him. We are around turn 25 or 26.
As far as Steve's game goes, I've watched a lot of the turns, and Airborne Bob had a tough go of it from turn one, but mostly because of his set up decisions. I think it's a very even scenario, and very fun.

The game between Pat and I is still up in the air also. He's made his way across the single bridges but there was quite a fight at the one with the buildings and I've still got a bazooka hidden waiting for the first tank to cross. He also hurt me in the town with those 150's. My relief force is having a tougher go of it but we are stilll pushing forward.
