CD War Tourney?
Has there been a CM CD scenario "War Tourney" held here before?
Playing 2-4 scenarios selected from each year of the war playing both sides. I'm sure there are enough good scenarios to do it, with bonus pts to each years victor. Any comments?

i love tourneys; but the one we are doing now with but a handfull of tanks per side has taken ages. I can't imagine what one with bigger scenarios in it would take.

We would stick to the smaller size / turn scenarios & avoid the monsters if at all possibile.
We could also take suggestions on which ones to play as well. Just throwing ideas out here! Hmmm, on that note what about selected one weekend "FAST" play tourney? Select one small scenario that MUST be played & completed Fri-Sun. Only players that CAN do this on the selected weekend(s) should sign up. This could be a once-a-month deal maybe. Select a pool of scenarios and on Thur I'd send a random one out & players would play both sides vs the same opponent. I have no problem organizing/running them.

How about
An operation type scenario, where what is left of one joins the next scenario?
I know with your maping etc abilities you could do it.

Those take a considerable amount of time to create & pull off, which is why I suggested canned scenarios.
I'm still neck deep in working on my combined AK/BB scenario. We've had a number of views on the thread - everyone should at least pipe-in with their comments pro or con! Heck you can suggest your favorite/best small/med 1941 scenarios now! They can actually be a bit lopsided as you will play bothsides, as long as they are fun!

I like both of your tourney ideas but it would just depend on the weekend for the fast play one. You would have to have some serious commitment for the other, but it would be a little easier to play in.
