The servers are already allowing you to preload the game and if you order it now you'll save $2.00.

Remember this, the sooner you do it the better because as the time goes by the servers will get more and more traffic as the day comes for the official release.
Don't even think about downloading it the day of .... Besides save the $2.00 bucks and have it ready for September 26th!

hehe, no im not kidding, ive been digging around on the steampowered forums and i think the server install is going to be released 2 days before the client release, so I'll keep tabs on that.... could end up being released on my b-day, sept 23rd :)

Is it a stand alone game? If so, should I decide to buy it, that means I can dump CS:Suck, right?

Nope, you should only have to buy DOD source and nothing else.... The $17.95 should get you all setup and ready to go :)

why are u calling it dod source???? it sounds like counter strike source??? and counter strike sucks??? so is it a counter strike expansion pack or what??? please just call it day of defeat so it is not to be confused with that horid game counter strike
