Default Deals on Carousel 1 Planes

Wings and Wheels is a small business on the east coast of the U.S. They have reduced their prices on their entire stock of Carousel 1 planes. Each is priced at $59.95, which is $10 lower than the typical price. In addition they offer free shipping within the U.S. Here's the link:

Along with planes from Eagles International, which has a limited line (I prefer their P-51 B's & C's), Carousel 1 makes the finest 1:48 planes that are widely available. Their very best are their FW 190 Doras. Of those, my personal favorite is the D-13, but the D-11 and D-9 (which was produced by far in the greatest numbers) are also among the best of the best.

Even if you aren't up for plunking down your money at the moment, I recommend that you take a look--that's free after all. The site that best displays them (and most other die cast as well) is the Flying Mule. The free view starts here:

Nice sellection of razorback Mustangs including a personal favorite
Don Gentile's "Shangri-La" 336 F.S. 4th F.G

And in a D model Richard Petersons "Hurry Home Honey"
364th F.S. 357th F.G.

I have both A/C in 1/48 scale on my model shelf waiting for time to but them together

Was the D at which you were looking a Corgi from their Warbirds series?

Yes

Richard Peterson was from Minnesota, the obvious interest.
